The second edition of Miss Himalaya Pageant 2014 concluded in Dharamsala on Sunday.
The event was organised by the exiled Tibetan Lobsang Wangyal Productions in McLeod Ganj town. There were five contestants from the Himalayan region who participated in the annual event.
Jyoti Dogra, who was crowned as the winner of the contest, said that she wants to become a role model for all girls from the Himalayan region.
"I want to be a role model for all the Himalayans because I am simple and ordinary girl. I am the kind of girl you find every next door. So, I wanted to give them a message that if I can do it, they can all do it. I just want to be an inspiration for them and I think I will be," she said.
The first and second runner-ups were Shikha Sharma from Dharamshala and Dawa Dema from Thimpu.
