As the exit polls give a mandate to the BJP-led NDA coalition, Rashtriya Lok Dal candidate Amar Singh on Tuesday said that he will accept the verdict given by people.

Commenting on the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Singh said one could see a glimpse of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, party patriarch LK Advani, and slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan in Narendra Modi.

"One could see mix of Atal ji, Advani ji and late Pramod Mahajan ji in Modi, will accept the verdict of people," he added.

According to Times Now ORG exit poll, the BJP-led NDA will get around 249 seats whereas the Congress-led UPA government might score around 148 seats. The poll also shows that regional parties will get 146 seats combined.

The C-Voter exit poll suggests that the NDA might get around 289 seats while the UPA will get only 101 seats.

The CNN-IBN CSDS-Lokniti exit poll suggests that NDA will get a lion's share of around 270-282 seats while the UPA will get around 92-102 seats only.

The Headlines Today exit poll suggests the NDA will get 272 plus seats, while the UPA will be struck at 115 seats.

The ABP NEWS - NIELSEN exit poll too suggests that the NDA will get more than 281 seats whereas the UPA will get only 97 seats.

All the polls have shown huge gains for the NDA in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra. In Southern states, the regional parties will be getting the lion share of seats.

In 2009 Lok Sabha elections, the UPA was able to get 262 seats while the NDA got only 159 seats.
