Modi calls Nido's death a national shame

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Saturday said that Arunachal student Nido Taniam's death in the national capital was a national shame and that the central and Delhi Government were playing a blame game on the issue.

"Nido Taniam's death in the national capital is a national shame and is an extremely unfortunate and sad incident," said Modi.

Addressing a rally in Imphal he said,"I hope the Central and Delhi Government's come out of the blame game they are playing and do justice in this case.
