Modi to leave on Sunday for VIth BRICS Summit in Brazil

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave on July 13 on a four-day visit of Brazil, where he is scheduled to take part in the VIth BRICS Summit.

The summit, which will be the Indian Prime Minister's first multilateral interaction abroad, will held in Fortaleza and Brasilia from July 14 to 16.

During his visit, Modi will be interacting with the heads of Brazil, China, Russia and South Africa. He is also scheduled to have important bilateral meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 14.

On July 15, the Prime Minister will attend a private working session and plenary sessions of the BRICS Summit in Fortaleza, besides participating in various ceremonies.

Modi is scheduled to have bilateral dialogues in Brazil capital Brasilia with Brazilian President Dilma Vana Rousseff apart from having bilateral meeting with South African President Jacob Zuma. He PM will also participate in private sessions of BRICS Summit with South American leaders in the Itamaraty Palace.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate a new chancery building of Indian Embassy in Brasilia.
