New Delhi, May 3 (ANI): A good song can make or break a singer's career and if the singer loses that song then, the lifelong regret is bound to happen.

Indian playback singer Monali Thakur, who has won a National Award for her song 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage', dished out a secret of losing a chartbuster Bollywood song to another top singer.

In an exclusive interview with ANI in the national capital, the 'Sawaar Loon' hit-maker revealed, "I don't know if I should tell this or not, but I regret losing the 'Deewani Mastani' track from 'Bajirao Mastani'."

"I was out of town and the makers could not wait for me, so the song eventually went to Shreya Ghoshal", added the 29-year-old singer.

The track 'Deewani Mastani' later grabbed several awards at various award ceremonies after the release.

Monali, whose latest track 'Cham Cham' from 'Baaghi' is being loved by everyone, also expressed her desire to croon melodious songs adding that she will focus more on independent singles.
