Suspected militants have killed a Territorial Army jawan at Qaimoh in Kulgam District in South Kashmir this afternoon.
The jawan has been identified as Gowhar Ahmad.
Meanwhile, the police and the army have cordoned off the area and have started search operations to nab the culprit.
It may noted that this incident occurred on the same day when a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel was killed and seven others, including three BSF personnel and four civilians were injured in cross-border firing in the RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
