Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has tipped one of his best friends Sam Allardyce to be the manager of the year as West Ham displayed an impressive performance to have been currently placed fourth in the league table.
Mourinho said that if West Ham finishes top four, then Big Sam would be the manager of the season, West Ham team of the season, as it would be an amazing achievement comparing West Ham with the investment that other teams had to finish in the top four, the Daily Express reported.
He further said that Allardyce has a big history in the Premier League, adding that he deserved that as had a fantastic career in the Premier League.
Earlier, Mourinho slammed Allardyce for playing "19th century football".
However, he said that he respects Sam as a coach as he was giving not just the image of a very competitive coach that plays in a certain way but he was playing in a different way.
