Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly been handed a 8,000 pound-fine by the Football Association (FA) over a charge of improper conduct following his dismissal in the Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Mourinho was sent to the stands during his team's 4-1 win against Cardiff City last weekend for accusing Cardiff of employing time-wasting tactics from early in the match and repeatedly voicing his suspicions to the match officials.
According to Sport24, the former Real Madrid boss had already revealed he would accept his punishment, having read the referee's report.
However, Mourinho defended himself, saying that although he was aggressive, he was not offensive, adding that he just had a disagreement with the referees.
