Manchester United boss David Moyes is reportedly expecting that a new deal would be given to their striker Robin van Persie after he expressed his desire to stay with the club.
Moyes has said that Van Persie is happy at the club and they are 'very pleased' about that, as there had been rumours that the striker was reportedly unhappy with life under Moyes and wanted a transfer.
According to the BBC, Van Persie put an end to speculations regarding his future this week as he insisted that he is content with life at Old Trafford and said that he would like to extend his current contract beyond 2016.
Moyes who was reportedly delighted with Van Persie's decision said that the striker has got a couple of years on his contract and felt sure that 'an extension' is something that the board would look at.
