Manchester United is reportedly set to make a 24 million-pound bid to land Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan in order to solve their midfield crisis.
United boss David Moyes is an admirer of Gundogan and is keen to land the Germany international this month.
According to the Mirror, although Gundogan has not played for the Bundesliga side since August because of a back injury, it has not put Moyes from pursuing him as he is desperate to bolster United's midfield options.
Gundogan still has 18 months remaining on his contract with Dortmund and has been urged by them to make up his mind over his future, the report added.
