Mozilla's new smartphone that features Firefox operating system has reportedly gone on sale on the website Snadpdeal.com, India's largest e-shopping website, the company said.
The sale marks the introduction of the smartphone for the first time in Asian market.
Mozilla said on Monday that the Cloud FX although retails at 2490 rupees but it is currently available at a discount of 20 percent for 1999 rupees, reported CNET.
The Cloud FX designed and built by Indian smartphone maker Intex Technologies has been introduced as an alternative to the "dumb" feature phones that will help people in developing countries to access internet on the go.
The smartphone was introduced for the first time on the ZTE Open in Spain last year and since then, the device has been launched in 15 other countries across Europe, Latin America, and South America.
