President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday extended his greetings and felicitations to the people of Sweden on their National Day.
The bilateral cooperation between the two countries would continue to strengthen in the years to come in every sphere of human endeavour and benefit both the Swedish and the Indian people, said President Mukherjee in his message to the King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conveyed his greetings through Twitter.
"Sweden is India's valued friend connected by shared values and there is great potential in India-Sweden ties," PM Modi posted.
