President Pranab Mukherjee will administer the oath of Office to K.V. Chowdary as Central Vigilance Commissioner and Vijai Sharma as Chief Information Commissioner at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The function will be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.
Last Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had chaired a meeting over the appointments at his official 7, Race Course Road residence.
A meeting regarding the same had taken place earlier in May. However, it had remained inconclusive.
The post of the Chief Information Commissioner has been lying vacant for over nine months after Rajiv Mathur's term ended in August 2014.
There is also a vacancy of three Information Commissioners in the CIC.
Previous Central Vigilance Commissioner Pradeep Kumar completed his term in September last year.
