The alleged mastermind of the Mumbai attack case Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi has been detained again by the police following the registration of another case at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) that accuses him to be involved in the abduction of a man named Anwar.
According to Dawn News, the FIR was registered barely hours after the IHC ordered his conditional release yesterday.
Lakhvi was arrested by the police and taken into custody at the Shalimar police station and produced in a local court in Islamabad today.
Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi presided over yesterday's hearing following Lakhvi's petition seeking an end to his detention.
