The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ravindra Shisve confirmed here today that Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is returning from the United Sates for her statement on molestation case which she filed against her former boyfriend Ness Wadia few days ago.
Zinta went to U.S. after filing the complaint in Marine Drive police station of Mumbai.
"Police has recorded the statements of the witnesses. Preity has been called from U.S. for further details. Only after her statement the police will be able to take the investigation further and upgrade the witness list," said Shisve.
"The technical evidence collection is still on. We are trying to investigate all possible sides of the case. We have taken the feedback of the cameras of the Wankhede stadium. We will get footage tomorrow and investigate further after seeing it," he added.
Earlier the actress had alleged Ness Wadia of molesting and abusing her in public at the Wankhede stadium during match between IPL teams Kings Eleven Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Zinta had also issued a public statement on Facebook regarding the molestation case.
