A man was arrested on Sunday allegedly for stabbing a woman to death here following a verbal altercation, police said.
The deceased and accused have been identified as Reshma Sheikh and Kishan Jaideep Mandal, respectively.
One person named Shahbaz Merchant also got injured in the same attack last night, police said.
After the incident, Sheikh's husband filed the First Information Report (FIR) in this regard with Nagada Police.
As per the police statement, Mandal has been arrested on charges of murder and attempt to murder under Sections 302 and 307 of Indian Penal Code and sections 37(1) 135 of Maharashtra Police Act.
