Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray believes Rafael Nadal is the man to beat at the US Open and is an obstacle in his successful defence at Flushing Meadows.

According to the Mirror, the Spaniard has been totally dominant on hard courts this season and previous champions Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic also reckon he is the man to beat in New York over the next fortnight.

Murray said that it was hard not be impressed with Nadal on hard courts this year and he had not lost yet.

The Wimbledon Champion further added that it was not as if the Spaniard had easy players to face in his matches on hard courts, and he would be very difficult to beat.
