Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf has reached the special court for hearing of the high treason case after departing from the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC).

Late on Saturday, Musharraf was moved to the AFIC's ICU after his condition deteriorated due to stress after receiving news of his mother's illness, who is currently hospitalised in Sharjah and is suffering from respiratory complications, Dawn News reports.

According to the report, earlier, non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against Musharraf in case he failed to appear before the court.
