Former British and Commonwealth light middleweight champion Anthony Small who recently converted to Islam and is now known as Abdul-Haqq has justified the beheading of American journalist James Foley and showed support for Islamic State group in a video posted online.
He said that the beheading of James Foley was a response to the attacks of the 'Unites Snakes of America' against the IS militants.
According to the Mirror, Small was a member of the banned radical group Al-Muhajiroun/Islam4UK.
In the seven minute long video, the former boxing champion warned the United Kingdom against following the footsteps of the U.S.
He also said that if UK took steps against the IS militants, then the dormant jihadist groups already present there might take action.
Anthony Small said that the beheading was provoked and came out as a retaliation. He added that the Islamic State fighters claim themselves that the killing of James Foley was a response to the U.S. airstrikes in Iraq.
