Fourteen-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has entered the quarter-finals of the ATP Acapulco tournament with a comprehensive straight-sets victory over Italy's Paolo Lorenzi.
The second seeded defeated 38th-ranked Lorenzi 6-1, 6-1 in a match that lasted for just 66 minutes on Wednesday, reported Sport24.
Nadal, who won the tournament in 2005 and 2013, has a 12-match winning streak in the event.
The Spaniard will next face Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka, who defeated Jordan Thompson of Australia 6-4, 3-6, 6-0.
Nadal is playing in his first tournament since losing to Roger Federer in the Australian Open final.
