Recently, the Handel's Messiah Oratorio music concert was held at the Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo under the theme of 'Oneness in Christ' with an aim to spread unity among churches in the region.
This was the first ever western classical music concert held in the state.
During the concert, Nagaland's Hope Centre for Excellence in Music and Art and various church choirs of Dimapur, renowned musicians from Singapore and Kolkata, and professional musicians from music schools in the state performed on one platform.
The event gave the musicians a chance to come together on one platform and send out a message of peace and harmony.
Razou Vasa , an orchestra conductor, said: "Through this concert, we meet many friends from different tribes. Music brings us together and I am so happy to perform here tonight. I enjoy singing.
