Naomi Watts has not been officially cast in the remake of 1963's 'The Birds', which will be produced by 'Transformers' director Michael Bay and helmed by Dutch filmmaker Diederik Van Rooijen.
Brad Fuller, co-owner of Bay's production company Platinum Dunes, told horror-movies.ca that no actor or actress is going to commit to everything without a script, Metro.co.uk reported.
Fuller continued saying that he and Bay have sat down with the blonde beauty and, conceptually, all of them want to make the same movie, but until they have a script, it will be a little premature to say that the actress has signed up for the film.
But, he would really like to have her as the lead, he added.
