National Congress Party (NCP) leader Jitendra Awhad on Monday filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in Bombay High Court alleging that there were several mistakes in electoral polls of recent elections held in Maharashtra.

Awhad has been booked on charges of violating the model code of conduct.

Reportedly, Awhad and his followers on Sunday took out a rally in the Mumbra township for which they had not taken any permission from the election department.
