NASA legend Neil Armstrong's first step on Moon has been voted as Britons' most favourite moment caught on camera in the history of television.
More than a third of respondents said that Armstrong's immortal words, 'That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind', was one moment they would like to see again.
The survey conducted by Toshiba rated England's victory over West Germany in 1966 and Geoff Hurst's last gasp World Cup goal was named the 'most patriotic' TV moment ever.
According to Daily Star, Armstrong's 1969 space mission was voted more momentous than the Queen's Coronation, securing 9 percent votes and Martin Luther King's 'I Have A Dream' speech with 8 percent votes.
The fall of the Berlin Wall with 6 percent votes scored at last in Britain's top 5 favourite TV broadcasts from history.
Toshiba UK marketing boss Tarek Boudour said that it is interesting to see from their research which broadcast moments the nation values most.
