Kathmandu [Nepal], July 30 (ANI): A Member of Nepal Parliament on Sunday threatened to quit from his post if the government fails to address the demands of the Madhesh based parties on time.
Dimple Kumari Jha, MP from Rastriya Janata Party- Nepal said the actual demands of the Madhesh based parties are being neglected and the focus is on those issues which didn't require any attention.
Addressing the Parliamentary meeting on Sunday, Jha raised questions over the missing amendment bill in the parliament as it was taken forward.
"Time and again this parliament witnessed the change in the government. All those governments which were formed completed their tenure and went off. Two phases of local polls were also held but the amendment proposal which was brought in the parliament is now missing," Jha said.
"The constitution amendment and the tasks that are to be completed by the government should progress ahead and should take all together, make agreement and garner co-operation and take forward. If not now the RJP-N will have the condition to quit this parliament and go. If the work is not done by staying here then there is no use of our presence and address here," Jha added threatening to quit the parliament.
The long time agitating parties of Nepal have now reunited under the banner of Rastriya Janata Party- Nepal and are demanding for amendment in the Constitution promulgated in September 2015.
