The political parties in Nepal submitted their closed list of candidates for proportional representation (PR) for the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies, at the office of the Election Commission in Kathmandu on Sunday.
A total of 55 parties out of the 88 registered for the elections completed the procedure of filing the close list, Nepal's Election Commission officials informed.
According to the schedule released by the Election Commission, 32 districts out of 75 will go for polls in the first phase of election followed by a second phase in duration of 20 days covering 45 districts on 26 November and 7 December respectively.
