The Nepali Congress party has said that it would hold elections of its district and constituency committees on third week of June, as it was unable to hold it during the party's 13th national general convention around three months ago.
According to the Central Election Committee, elections are yet to be held in seven district committees - Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sindhupalchok, Parsa, Bajhang, Kanchanpur and a constituency committee in Dhanusha-5, reports the Himalayan Times.
The Committee has also decided to instruct other local committees except the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Committee to complete the polling process in coordination with the party's sister and well-wishing organisations locally, if they are yet to hold the elections.
