Executives at Warner Brothers are reportedly developing a reboot of the live action comedy 'Scooby-Doo', according to reports.

More than a decade after the release of the 2002 film based on the iconic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, movie bosses are in the early stages of creating a new adventure for the group of young sleuths and their beloved pet pooch, Deadline.com reported.

Sources tell the site that producers are "starting from scratch" and have recruited filmmaker Randall Green to helm the project.

The first live action film starred Freddie Prinze, Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini and Isla Fisher as the mystery solving gang.
