New law in the UK has come into effect that carries a two year jail term for people who post nude images or videos of a person without his or her consent.
According to Daily Star, revenge porn has become an increasing issue in the recent past as anybody can simply click a picture using smartphones and post them online.
Luke King was the first person to be prosecuted in the UK in November for posting revenge porn.
King had shared nude pictures of his ex-girlfriend on instant messaging service WhatsApp.
He spent only 12 weeks in jail which was the maximum punishment under previous laws.
