Nick Lachey has claimed that even though he hasn't been talking to his former wife Jessica Simpson since they parted ways, he still hopes for the best for her after the birth of her second child, baby boy Ace Knute Johnson.
During an interview with E! News, the singer, who divorced Simpson in 2006, was asked if he'd talked to Simpson since she gave birth to baby boy Ace Knute Johnson on June 30.
The 39-year-old singer revealed that they are not in touch, Us magazine reported.
The 'What's Left of Me' hit maker, asserted that he wished Simpson, who is engaged to NFL star Eric Johnson, the best and even though they haven't spoken in years, he would like to think the same on her end.
