Nicki Minaj has revealed that she thought she was "going to die" after having an abortion.
The 'Anaconda' singer, who opened up about the traumatic time in her life to the latest issue of Rolling Stone, said that while she made the decision as a teen, it is something that still affects her, Stuff.co.nz reported.
She said that it was the hardest thing she had ever gone through and it haunted all her life, as she wasn't ready and had nothing to offer a child.
Minaj found out that she was pregnant to her first love while attending the prestigious Manhattan performing-arts high school LaGuardia and even rapped about the experience on a track called 'Autobiography' that she "didn't expect anyone to hear.
