Chris Rock was apparently really unhappy in the marriage with his wife of 19 years.
Sources directly connected to the couple have told TMZ.com that Rock, who recently filed for divorce from Malaak, had no desire to be in a marriage which was unfulfilling.
Though as per the reports, the divorce is supposed to be a "simple" one with no third party involved, Rock had blamed Malaak for keeping their 2 daughters away from him and has asked for shared legal and physical custody.
Malaak had issued a statement making it look like that the divorce was mutual decision but Rock's reps made it clear that it was his decision.
