Nigella Lawson's billionaire husband has threatened to commit suicide in a bid to win back the celebrity chef after the first stages of their divorce.
Lawson divorced Saatchi after he was photographed grabbing her throat outside a posh restaurant.
The art collector warned in phone calls and texts that he would take his own life and begged Lawson to call him, the New York Daily News reported.
According to Lawson's pals, Saatchi has apparently become disturbed since their split.
The source said that Charles has been texting and phoning Lawson endlessly and her silence is driving him crazy.
The couple who are said to be worth nearly 230 million dollars, divorced last month.
