Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday described Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Lalu Yadav as political hypocrites.

"Nitish ji says lets debate on the issue of development. What is there to debate? Gujarat is number 1 and Bihar stands at 21," said Jaitley at the inauguration of India Economic Convention 2015.
"These people have insulted Ram Manohar Lohia's heritage. The people, who do politics over Lohia's name, go to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in the evening for holding press conferences," he added.
Jaitley reiterated that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance would definitely win the Bihar Assembly polls.

"We will win the Bihar polls. It will be a repeat of what happened during Lok Sabha polls," he said.
Elections for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases between October 12 and November 5.
The counting of votes will take place on November 8.The term of the current Bihar Assembly expires on November 29.
