Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav today attended the Dawat-e-Iftar hosted by senior JD (U) functionary Shyam Rajak here.
Lalu's son and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was also present on the occasion.
"Every year we host Dawat-e-Iftar in Phulwari. People from all caste and religions come here and wish each other in this holy month of Ramadan," Rajak told ANI.
"We wish that there is peace and harmony in the district," he added.
The RJD boss along with Tejashwi earlier attended the Iftar party hosted by former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.
