"No actor around the world would understand the love and affection that we see and experience," these were the words of Bollywood's desi girl Priyanka Chopra when she made her debut on Stephen Colbert's chat show "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert".
After turning heads at all the leading chat shows of the US, Priyanka was seen praising her fans when show's host Stephen Colbert's asked her why it was difficult for Indian filmstars to walk around the streets in India.
The 'Quantico' actress said, "It is difficult because Indian movie stars are really loved and Indian movies also have Diaspora around the world. So even in America, we have so many fans."
While expressing her happiness, PeeCee said that Indian stars enjoy special attention, where thousands of fans wait for hours to get a glimpse of their favourite star and this happens not only in India but also around the world.
"You have so many people that come out with love, affection and hugs and it's really warm," the 34-year-old star added.
The episode also featured an interview with Thomas Sadoski and stand-up comedy from Pat Brown.
The chat show is one of the funniest TV shows in the United States.
Personalities like Michelle Obama, Helen Mirren, Tina Fey, John Oliver, Chrissy Tiegen, Kate Hudson, Tom Hiddleston have been on the show earlier.
