If sources are to be believed, there will be no memorial service for late singer David Bowie.

An insider revealed that the Bowie family is extremely private just like the singer, who had a very small circle of friends and confidantes, the People magazine reports.

After battling cancer for 18 months, Bowie passed away on January 11 aged 69.

The late singer had said that he did not want a funeral, and therefore, was cremated in the presence of family and a few close friends.
