World No.1 Novak Djokovic impressed staff at a restaurant by speaking fluent Italian, after he took a break on his day off from the US Open on Wednesday by heading out to a dinner with friends in Brooklyn.
According to The New York Post, the Serbian superstar drank only water at the restaurant at Antica Pesa in Williamsburg, and even insisted on going into the open kitchen to thank everyone.
An awed onlooker said that it was really nice of the player to take photos with everyone.
Djokovic is in danger of losing his No.1 world ranking at the US Open if he loses before the final and Rafael Nadal wins the tournament.
