Former Australian cricketer Ian Botham has developed a special taste for the West Indies and has bought a large plot of land on St Kitts, along with plans to help the local kids play cricket.
According to the Daily Express, Botham will have a Tom Fazio-designed golf course, sea fishing opportunities and a deep-water marina and added that he has always loved playing in the West Indies, while finding the people to be extremely friendly.
The report said that the harbourside plot, with a dual Atlantic and Caribbean aspect, has 30ft of water frontage, so there is plenty of room for the former cricketer to unleash his creative side on a grand villa.
The Australian legend added that his wife Kath would be taking care of the design side of things.
When asked about whether England would have a good Ashes series, Botham replied that he did not think they would have a good series because they would just win, the report added.
