After Vanessa Williams, a former Miss New York contestant, who was forced to give up her crown by the Miss America Organisation after she appeared topless in a film, wants an apology.
Jennifer DeLora was crowned Miss Ulster County, New York in 1986 and was about to compete for the Miss New York crown, but when the organisation came across her role in the 'Bad Girls Dormitory,' in which she was topless for only 7 seconds, she was asked to give up her crown, reports TMZ.com.
Insiders revealed that during the incident, DeLora said that she got a letter notifying her that she had 72 hours to surrender her county crown for what the organisation called conduct that was indecent and in bad taste.
