Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are set to release their upcoming movie 'Ok Jaanu' just in two days, so it's absolutely natural to have butterflies in stomach.
But, looks like, it is something more than just those butterflies for these stars, considering the flops they faced in their last films (Fitoor and Rock On!! 2).
Hence, during an interview with ANI here, Aditya spoke about the importance of 'Ok Jaanu' for him.
"You will want any film to do well. It helps you in your career and if it does not, you take a setback; it takes you more time to stand up from that. Yes, my last couple of films did not do well; so it is very important film for me. There is no doubt about that. I am excited! But most important thing is, you have to be happy with whatever you have done. You should be happy about your film," he said.
Adding, "We are happy with our film. We both have seen it and liked it. So we are kind of optimistic right now."
Shraddha too shared her thoughts on the same and stated that there is one similarity between 'Ok Jaanu' and their last hit together 'Aashiqui 2.'
"I was telling him (Aditya Roy Kapur) the other day that before 'Aashiqui 2,' we came from two films, which did not do well. And the same thing is happening now. Both our previous films did not do that well. I hope 'Ok Jaanu' forms the same kind of connection. We hope to get that kind of love," she said.
Directed by Shaad Ali, this film is an official remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil hit flick 'O Kadhal Kanmani,' which featured Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen.
The film speaks about Aditya and Shraddha, as a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai, while Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson play an older couple, who are their landlords.
'Ok Jaanu,' to be released on January 13, is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies.
