Missy Franklin, who is the first US female swimmer to win six gold medals at the World Championships in Barcelona, has reportedly decided to start her college life at the University of California, Berkeley.
The 18-year-old swimmer, who will join college as she completes hosting the US Open Arthur Ashe Kids' Day, said that she is excited to be going college as she has heard many incredible things about the experience, People Magazine reported.
Franklin revealed that her mother is emotional about her moving away from home for the first time, but she is looking forward to 'live in the dorms and have a roommate'.
