In a big security lapse, Central Industrial Security Force (C.I.S.F) personnel detected a live round inside the wallet of a passenger, during the Pre-Embarkation Security Check (PESC) at Security Hold Area of Terminal-3 IGI Airport, on Friday.
The accused named, Praveen Kumar, bound to travel to Mumbai, was carrying a live round of 0.22 caliber inside his wallet and was caught by Assistant Sub-Inspector Yadagiri M of CISF.
On enquiry, Kumar could not produce any valid documents or license.
Later, the accused was offloaded by the concerned airlines and was taken to the IGI Police Station by the CISF.
He was handed over to the Delhi Police for further legal action.
