Defence expert Major General (retd) S R Sinho on Monday said that the only way for a peaceful relationship between India and Pakistan is for Islamabad to stop its repeated ceasefire violations.
"These ceasefire violations are basically to carry out infiltrations across the border with the aim of causing disruptions... This is not going to stop. The BSF is going to give a suitable reply. The sooner Pakistan realises, the better it will be for the Pakistani government to come to terms and the only way to have peaceful relations between India and Pakistan is for them to stop all this and forget about Kashmir," Major General Sinho said.
Pakistani forces violated the ceasefire agreement twice on Sunday night: in the Nowgam Sector of Kupwara district, where one BSF jawan was killed; and in R.S. Pura's Arnia sector.
