In a joint operation, the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel cordoned a forest area in Shopian today following reports that the militants were hiding there.
The forest area is 50 kilometres from Srinagar city.
The security forces are searching the area to nab the militants.
