Australian racer Daniel Ricciardo has expressed that he is aiming to perform better in the 2016 season after finishing eighth overall in the Formula One standings of the just-concluded season.
Ricciardo, who has been suffering from engine woes of his Red Bull team, ended the 2015 season with a respectable sixth-place finish in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Reflecting on his performance, the 26-year-old said that although the sixth-place finish might not reflect a good weekend at Abu Dhabi, he added that he was still pleased with his performance, News.com.au reported.
Ricciardo also insisted that he managed to get the most out of his Red Bull Renault in the just-concluded season.
Ricciardo claimed two podium finishes in 2015 as he finished second in Singapore and third in Hungary.
