Over ten people have reportedly been killed in a relatively heavy explosion near the Supreme Court of Afghanistan.
Preliminary reports said the blast took place close to the ninth police district of the city.
Khamma Press quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the blast occurred near the Supreme Court compound and was triggered by a suicide attack.
Several others were wounded in the attack.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
