P. Diddy was arrested after he allegedly had a fight with Sal Alosi, the coach of UCLA Football, where his son, Justin Combs, plays as a defensive back.

According to the sources, the 45-year-old rapper, who insists that he hit out only self defense, has been taken to L.A. County jail by a campus patrol officers, TMZ.com has reported.

As per the reports, it was after Diddy saw the coach treating his son "badly" during strength and conditioning session, and went to confront him.

However, Alosi told him to leave, threatening to call security, at which the rapper said "Fine, I'll call police."

The response made Alosi snap and he went after Diddy with his hands, who grabbed and held up a kettlebell in defense, but claims that he didn't attack with an intent to injure the coach.
