Paisabazaar.com, India's largest online marketplace for lending products, on Thursday announced that it will launch a new campaign with brand ambassador Akshay Kumar from Friday.
The new campaign will feature Akshay Kumar as 'Money Singh' who will offer smart tips to the audience on managing their finances.
Naveen Kukreja, CEO and co-founder, Paisabazaar.com, said, "Creating consumer awareness on personal finance is one of our biggest objectives as a market leader. Through Akshay Kumar's mass popularity, we are aiming to spread key messages that will help consumers make smart and informed decisions while buying financial products".
Paisabazaar.com will launch the teaser of the 'Money Singh' campaign on TV during the IPL broadcast on Friday, while the first set of TVCs on free credit score, loans and credit cards will go on air from Saturday.
Other product specific campaigns with 'Money Singh' will be launched through the year, announced Paisabazaar.com.
Sai Narayan, Associate Director & Group Head of Marketing said, "We conceptualized the character of Money Singh with Akshay Kumar in mind. Money Singh is your cool and financial-savvy friend who will provide money lessons, in funny and quirky overtones, and who better than Akshay Kumar to deliver this."
The campaign has been conceived and executed by K Silent Productions, and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
