Pak CM says IS-like fundamentalists present in Balochistan

Pakistani Chief Minister of Balochistan state Malik Baloch said that there was no information about the presence of Islamic State (IS) in the province but claimed that there were some fundamentalists whose approach is similar to IS fighters.

According to Dawn, he said that some elements are there who want to impose their agenda on the people through force.

Baloch said that past policies of the rulers were the main reason behind the unrest in the province that is plagued by increasing violence and sectarian unrest.

He also said that his government was determined to maintain peace through political means.

Baloch claimed that he stands for peace and would strive for settlement of issues that relate to Balochistan.
